Description

A manual hydraulic pallet truck with twenty-seven by forty-eight inch forks and a fifty-five-hundred-pound rating. Three-position control on the handle — raise, neutral, lower — with the neutral position being the one that matters in practice, because it lets you reposition the handle without the forks creeping down. Nylon load wheels and a nylon steer wheel roll with the least effort on smooth concrete and will not mark it; they are the wrong choice on gravel, broken asphalt or a yard, where polyurethane deals with debris far better. Entry rollers on the fork tips let the truck enter a stringer pallet that is sitting flat on the floor without lifting it first. Grease the pump and the wheel bearings on a schedule. The commonest failure we see is not the pump but a load wheel bearing that was never greased and seized, which then drags and gouges the floor it was chosen to protect.
