Microfiber Flat Mop System

Description

An eighteen-inch aluminium frame on a telescoping handle with six launderable microfiber pads. Flat mopping puts clean solution on the floor on every pass instead of recirculating one bucket of increasingly dirty water, which is the entire reason it has replaced string mops nearly everywhere that gets inspected. The frame pivots through a full circle so the head stays flat under a rack or a bench without the operator twisting a wrist. Pads attach by hook-and-loop, come off without touching them if you step on the tab, and launder about two hundred times before the fibre stops picking up. Wash them without fabric softener, which coats the fibre and destroys the electrostatic pickup that makes microfiber work at all — that single mistake ruins more pads than wear does. Colour-code pads by area if you clean both a production floor and a restroom, because the one thing a flat mop does efficiently is move whatever it picked up somewhere else.
