Description

A forty-four gallon ribbed container on a five-caster dolly with a snap-on lid. The ribs are structural rather than decorative: they stop the wall flexing when a full container is dragged, which is how an unribbed drum splits at the base. Handles are moulded into the rim at an angle a person can actually lift from, and the base is tapered so containers nest for storage. Sold with the dolly deliberately, because a forty-four gallon container without one gets dragged across concrete, wears a flat through the base, and then leaks whatever was in it across the floor on its next trip. Five casters for the same reason as the drum dolly — a tall container rocks on four. The lid is a snap fit rather than a hinge, which keeps pests and rain out and is the difference between a receptacle you can leave outside a door and one you cannot. Rated for continuous use from about minus twenty degrees.
