Description

A five thousand lumen rechargeable LED area light with a magnetic base, a hanging hook and a standard tripod thread. Five thousand lumens is enough to light a work area properly rather than creating a bright spot and deep shadow around it, which is the failure of every small torch used as a work light. The colour temperature is neutral, around five thousand kelvin, so paint, wiring insulation and fluid colours read correctly — a warm light makes brown and red wiring the same colour, and that is a real problem at the wrong moment. The magnetic base holds on any steel surface and frees both hands. Runs several hours at full output and considerably longer on the low setting, charges over USB-C, and will run while charging. Sealed to a weather rating that tolerates a damp bay but is not designed to be submerged. Aluminium body, which is also the heatsink, so it gets warm in use.
