Description

One pair of gel-core knee pads with a moulded non-marking cap and two adjustable straps. The gel layer spreads load across the whole kneecap instead of concentrating it, which is the difference between kneeling for an hour and kneeling for five minutes. Two straps rather than one, positioned above and below the knee joint, because a single centre strap sits directly behind the knee, restricts circulation and is the reason most knee pads end up in a toolbox. The non-marking cap will not scuff a sealed or finished floor and will not pick up swarf and carry it across a clean surface. The cap is slightly domed so it rolls as the wearer shifts rather than catching. These are comfort and wear protection, not impact protection, and they are not a substitute for a kneeling board on a surface with debris on it. Wash the straps occasionally or they stop gripping.
