Description

Six rolls of two-inch vinyl floor marking tape, one hundred and eight feet each, in the standard colours: yellow for aisles and traffic, red for fire and safety equipment, blue for raw material, green for finished goods, black and white stripe for areas to be kept clear, orange for inspection hold. Seven and a half mil vinyl with a rubber adhesive, which conforms to a broom-finished concrete floor rather than bridging the texture and lifting at the edges the way a stiffer film does. The value here is not the tape, it is the convention. A floor where every colour means the same thing in every aisle can be read by a new hire on their first morning and by an auditor without a guide. Clean and dry the concrete first, apply above about fifty degrees, and press the full width down with a roller or a foot. Tape laid on a dusty floor lifts within a week and then gets blamed on the tape.
