A three-shelf steel cabinet stocked to ANSI/ISEA Z308.1 Class A for up to fifty people, with a gasketed door. Class A covers the common workplace injuries — cuts, abrasions, minor burns and sprains — and is the baseline most general industry sites are measured against. Class B is the higher-risk stock list, with more trauma capability, and a site with blades, heavy equipment or chemicals should look at whether it belongs in Class B instead. The gasket keeps dust and humidity out, which is what ruins the adhesive on bandages in a workshop cabinet that is opened twice a year. Refills are stocked separately by shelf and by item, so an audit finding on expired contents does not mean replacing the whole cabinet. Mount it where it can be reached without a key and without crossing the hazard. Assign one person to check contents and dates monthly and write the date on the door.
