Description

Two fluted layers sandwiched between three liners, rated 48 ECT, for loads that will be stacked in a container or ride a pallet through more than one terminal. The second flute roughly doubles the edge crush the wall can take before it buckles, and edge crush is what actually fails when a pallet is stacked three high in a trailer for two thousand miles. Shipped flat in bundles of fifteen. Use it where a single-wall carton has already failed you once: crushed corners, a lid that has sunk into the load, or a consignee reporting damage that the product itself cannot explain. It is also the carton to reach for when the freight class or the insurer asks what the packaging is rated to, because 48 ECT is a number you can put in writing. Heavier than single-wall, so check your dimensional weight before switching an entire lane over. For light cased goods moving by parcel, the single-wall carton is the cheaper and correct answer and we will say so.
