Convertible Hand Truck

Description

A welded steel frame that converts from a two-wheel upright truck to a four-wheel platform in one movement, with eight-inch pneumatic wheels and a continuous loop handle. Rated six hundred pounds upright and eight hundred as a platform. The conversion is the entire point of the tool: most benches need both configurations during a day and have floor space to store one truck. Upright, it handles the stacked-carton and appliance work a two-wheeler is for. Converted, it becomes a low platform for long or awkward loads that would be unstable on a nose plate. Pneumatic wheels rather than solid because the loading dock lip, the expansion joint and the gravel apron are where solid wheels transmit a shock straight into the load and the operator's wrists. They need occasional inflation, which is the trade. The loop handle lets a second person take the other end on a stair or a ramp without improvising a grip on the frame.
