Description

Cast film with a quiet unwind and cling on one side only, so wrapped pallets release from each other in the trailer instead of welding into a block that has to be cut apart. Four rolls per case, twenty inches wide, five thousand feet on the roll, wound on a three-inch core that fits every standard turntable wrapper. Cast rather than blown: it runs quieter, it is clearer so a label can be read through the wrap, and it stretches more predictably under machine tension. Match the gauge to the load rather than buying the heaviest. Sixty-three gauge is right for light, uniform cased goods on a stable pallet. Eighty is the workhorse for mixed pallets where the load is not perfectly square. Ninety is for loads with sharp corners, exposed metal or anything that has punctured film before. Running a heavier gauge than the load needs does not make a pallet safer; it makes it more expensive and it masks a stacking problem that should be fixed on the bench instead.
