Description

A twenty-four drawer steel cabinet with an assortment of grade 5 hex bolts, nuts, and flat and lock washers across the common imperial sizes, each drawer divided and labelled. Grade 5 is the general-purpose medium-carbon specification, marked with three radial lines on the head, and it is what the majority of shop and maintenance work actually calls for. It is not a substitute for grade 8 where a drawing specifies grade 8, and mixing them in one drawer is how a critical joint ends up with the wrong bolt in it — the markings are on the head for exactly this reason, so keep the grades separated. Sold assorted because the realistic alternative is twenty-four individual boxes and no cabinet, and a fastener that cannot be found in thirty seconds gets substituted with whatever is nearest. Drawers are removable and carry to the job. Refill packs are stocked by size so the cabinet can be topped up rather than replaced.
