Description

Natural kraft void fill on a twenty-four inch roll, thirty pound basis weight, twelve hundred feet, two rolls to the case. Crumples fast, holds its loft in a corner, and goes into the customer's paper recycling without a second thought, which is increasingly the reason buyers specify it over foam or air pillows. Thirty pound is the weight that matters: lighter kraft tears as it is crumpled and compacts to nothing under a load, so the product ends up resting on the carton wall anyway. Void fill is not cushioning and should not be sold as such. Its job is to stop a product migrating inside the box and to keep it off the walls and corners, which is where impact energy arrives. A fragile item still needs a proper cushion or a suspension pack. Feed it from a simple floor stand or a bench-mounted dispenser; pulling from a loose roll on the bench wastes about a third of it.
